Who Are We - A little Bit About Our Company
Clare & John Serginson
During our early careers in the advertising industry, based in London, we loved coming to the Lake District to refresh and recharge. The contrast between the buzz of London and the serenity and sheer majestic beauty of the lakes and mountains a real tonic. With long walks during the day, simply taking in the landscape, returning to a cosy cottage or hotel for the evening we could think of nothing or anywhere more perfect.
In 1993 we decided to move to the Lake District for a whole new life, with an idea of creating our own cottage agency, one different from others, one that would offer visitors an exceptional experience, where quality not numbers mattered.
We hoped our skills, John a still life photographer and Clare head of various Ad Agency print and art buying departments, would benefit home owners and holidaymakers, presenting holiday homes in an exciting manner, along with lots of information about the area, the attractions and just why, like us, once visited you to will fall in love with this unique part of England.
