Set in the North Lakes, at the southern tip of Ullswater, Glenridding is a small but popular stop off for any visitor to the area. With the beautiful Inn on the Lake, you can stop for a bite to eat or refreshment overlooking the peaceful water. The Glenridding Activity Centre and Ullswater Steamers are based on the lakeside here, so there’s plenty of water-based activities to keep you busy.

Onshore walks are aplenty, with Aira Force just north of the village, a National Trust waterfall overlooking the Ullswater lake.

Nearby towns such as Pooley Bridge, Pattersdale and Penrith all have something to offer, so a stay in one of our Glenridding cottages will be an active one.
