Escape to the breathtaking countryside and peaceful charm of Cumbria, choosing this cosy holiday accommodation as your base. Set just 8 miles from historic Penrith and within easy reach of the Lake District National Park, you’ll soon be exploring to your heart’s content and refuelling with delicious local fare at a friendly pub. Your bolthole awaits at the end of a busy day, greeting weary guests with an exclusive hot tub for relaxing evenings.

Boasting contemporary furniture and elegant interiors, the property is a treat from start to finish thanks to thoughtful details such as a flame-effect electric fire and homely accessories. The open-plan living space caters for all your relaxing, cooking and dining needs, whether you are curled up watching TV or preparing a feast for a wholesome supper. Sizzle up something special on the BBQ outside, then stargaze in the hot tub with a glass of something delicious. At bedtime, both bedrooms offer a tranquil retreat, and the master king-size room has a TV and an en-suite shower room. Completing the property is a twin bedroom and a shower room.

Satisfy your inner adventurer with walks from your doorstep and exciting escapades across the countryside, venturing to Ullswater 16 miles away to try water sports such as sailing and kayaking. Hop aboard an Ullswater Steamer and take in the views as you cruise across the water, snapping some mementoes of the majestic mountains looming in the distance. There are plenty of spots to stop for a picnic, but Pooley Bridge has several excellent pubs and a tearoom to tempt your taste buds 13.5 miles away. Lovely little pub in the village The Globe Inn which had a beautiful garden to sit with a meal & drink, food was absolutely delicious from the pub! We were very lucky with beautiful weather, lazy summer eveRead morenings, walking with our dog, sitting enjoying a meal from the pub then relaxing in the jacuzzi. Will definitely go back again! Hide
