Self-catering holiday accommodation in Keswick
Just north of Derwentwater is the market town of Keswick. A popular spot with holidaymakers the town has plenty to keep visitors busy. The twice-weekly market brings in a wealth of outside traders to the town adding an extra level of retail therapy to the town centre. On a normal day there are an array of shops from local boutiques to big named stores.
A short walk from the town centre you can reach Derwentwater Lake, where you will pass the Theatre by the Lake. Along the walk at Friars Crag there is a memorial to writer and art critic John Ruskin, who once said that Keswick was a place almost too beautiful to live in.
Choosing one of our Keswick cottages for your holiday will base you perfectly for exploring the North Lakes and the wider Lake District area. Find out even more about Keswick and it has to offer with our guide.
