This delightful cottage is conveniently located in the centre of the bustling market town of Keswick. A variety of shops, restaurants and pubs are within 50 metres, you can also visit the town’s popular theatre and cinema, also within easy reach. Derwentwater is only 0.6 miles away, take a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore, rent a boat, or even go on a cruise to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding fells. Pack your hiking boots and ascend the nearby Wainwrights Latrigg (1.5 miles), Catbells (4 miles) and Skiddaw (5 miles). The popular Lake District towns of Grasmere, Ambleside and Windermere are also within 21 miles.

Venture upstairs to find a tastefully decorated bedroom, featuring a comfortable bed, Smart TV with Sky and breathtaking views over the charming town and the stunning Catbells mountain range. Next door you'll find a spacious bathroom with boasts both a rejuvenating bath and a separate shower, allowing you to choose your preferred way to unwind after a day of exploring.

There is no direct outside area apart from the front bench however you are in a fantastic central location to be able to enjoy Keswick on foot.

Excellent house in central location. Fully equipped, comfortable, clean and warm. Parking near the exit of Otley Road car park is recommended. Only negative was the very loud DJ and noisy clientele gathering outside the bar directly opposite on Friday night. Bring ear plugs!

Very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated home from home. Lots of nice little touches here and there which added to our stay. The paid parking at one of the 3 main car parks is also a good idea. We would stay again.

Very well located, warm and cosy with good quality fittings, appliances and furniture. Good bathroom and bedroom. Parking at Otley Road works o.k., be aware that loading and unloading at the cottage is only possible with a small car. All in all, very comfortable experience and definitely would stay again.

Wow! What an amazingly little find. All the care and thought gone into making it just right! I was on my own and felt very comfortable. It would have been snug for two people needing their own space but good for a couple who are happy to share a sofa. Nothing more to stay, it was just perfect, thank you !

Perfect location for those looking for a break in Keswick, with the town centre only minutes away on foot, whilst still being relatively quiet at night; ideal for exploring the Lakes. Well equipped house and good space for a couple, any more guests may find space limited though. Parking is nearby in local car parks.

Property is in a very convenient location in the centre of Keswick. It was extremely clean, cosy and comfortable and everything provided was a very high standard. The parking provided in Otley Road works well if you don't have too much luggage.

This is a great little cottage in a really central location. As it also comes with a digital car park pass, we just parked up and used the buses to travel. The cottage is extremely well equipped, nice and cosy in the winter. The only thing Id say if you were looking to book, the stairs are quite steep so could be a challenge for anyone with mobilitRead morey issues. Hide

Lovely stay in HaPenny Cottage! Having stayed in numerous 1 bedroom properties now across Keswick, this is my new favourite. The location is fantastic as is the property. Superbly equipped for self-caterers with lovely added touches of newer technologies that Ive not seen in other properties such as the USB ports in the bedroom lamps- these are verRead morey thoughtful. Beautiful cottage, ideal for a couple. Location was perfect.
