The Lake
Esthwaite Water is a small lake, a few miles south of Hawkshead, flanked by two of Lakeland’s largest waters, Windermere and Coniston. Far less populated by visitors than its larger neighbours, there are many beauty spots and views to take in along the lake’s eastern shore.
Fishing
Esthwaite Water is home to a trout fishery, a professional set up offering a great days fishing. You can hire tackle by the day and try your hand at coarse or fly fishing, casting off from either the shore or a hire boat. Osprey Safaris provides a tour in a self-driven boat!
