Self-catering holiday accommodation in Wigton

Just north of the Lake District National Park is Wigton, a market town popular with visitors to the North Lakes. As well as the Lake District, you are also well placed in Wigton to visit the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and towns such as Allonby and Maryport on the coastline. Here you can experience views of the Scottish mountains across the estuary.

Carlisle is just a short drive away, so as well as the peace and tranquillity that the town offers, you can also experience city life within a short while.

Over the border into the Lake District, Lake Bassenthwaite is within easy reach, as are some of the National Park’s highest peaks: Skiddaw and Blencathra – the perfect challenge for keen climbers.

Our Wigton cottages offer the blend of old, new, quiet and lively giving something for everyone.
