Wow, what a perfect location and a stunning cottage. Right in the middle of the village with access to everything we needed. I'm 6'1" and could fit easily into both the bed and bath!! A very comfortable cottage in a lovely location with great views over the fells. Felt warm and cosy with all that we needed, especially welcome due to Covid restrictions and unhelpful weather in the evenings meaning we spent more time in the cottage than we may generally have, which was a pleasure. A lovely cottage convenient for shops and walking routes. The public car park only a minute away and permit supplied. The 36 steps up to it maybe a bit too much for some but we were prewarned and managed ok. Lovely outside space looking across rooftops to the hills.

The location of this cottage is amazing, right in the heart of Ambleside. The cottage itself is really spacious and fabulous for a couple. The shared patio at the front is fantastic and gets the sun all afternoon so it is a lovely place to sit out. I would definitely stay again if I was in Ambleside.

Very nice cottage in a central location. Would have liked a little more privacy when sitting outside as more of the area was shared than we expected. Car park was extremely busy so finding a space in the afternoon often took a while.

Not suitable for anyone who has moderate or poor mobility, due to the steps leading to cottage. Location good for local cafes and restaurants. Easy access to other areas within the lakes. Beautiful views.
