We stayed at Caudale Beck for two weeks with 3 children. It is a lovely characteristic old cottage on a sheep farm. It is in a very quiet place, we haven't seen anybody at the cottage, only the owner (in contrast to Dovedale Cottage on the same site which is along a hiking route). Around the cottage is a lot of space for children to play. The area Read moreis a hotspot for hiking, which we also enjoyed. The ~700m fells right around the cottage are the right level for family hikes. The owner Jimmy is very friendly and helpful. The cottage is well equipped with spacious fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and kitchen gear. The bedrooms are quite large for a holiday home. We would definitely come back if we would be in this area again. Hide
