House & garden very special, made for a peaceful & relaxing stay. So many places to explore, or just pop down the road to own private beach. Also Lakeside very close, jump on a boat, train, or just for a walk. Perfect location!

Such an amazing place to stay. The hot tub view is pretty special and the garden is to die for. I would strongly suggest that the accommodation be cleaned better or more regularly though. The light switches and surfaces in general were pretty dirty and it looked like some places hadn't been cleaned in many many months

Beautiful house and gorgeous gardens. Hot tub was lovely and clean. Loved the visiting local peacock every morning! House was generally clean but it is probably due a deep clean soon. The separating door between the downstairs apartment and upstairs apartment could be a little more sound proof as the noise carrys easily into the bedrooms. Fir Tree Lodge is a very comfortable and well equipped holiday home in a beautiful location. We visited in February so were not able to take advantage of the stunning gardens with fire pit, bbq and ample outdoor furniture, however we did enjoy the wood burning stove in the cosy living room. We were 4 adults and the only downside is that the double Read morebedroom is tight for adults with little space to move around, it would be fime for children. The double bed was extremely comfortable. Hide

This property is plenty big enough for 4, beautiful location and the hot tub is of generous size. The garden is lovely with a beautiful friendly peacock roaming about. Complimentary tea and coffee were very appreciated, a toilet roll may have been nice! Well presented and clean, I'd stay again.
