Perfect base for a family or friends, featuring some fabulous walks from your front door. This picturesque fellside location is less than 8 miles from Keswick and is a great spot from which to explore the Lake District. The property sits at the foot of Skiddaw, one of the best-known fells in the Lake District and the fourth-highest peak in England. The local area has so much to offer you and your fellow guests. With plenty of wildlife-watching opportunities, keen photographers will be in their element, and the quiet roads are ideal for cycling and for those who like to test their pedal power. Enjoy a tour and tastings at The Lakes Distillery (5.5 miles), hire a boat and enjoy sailing and water sports on Lake Bassenthwaite (6 miles) or visit the Lake District Wildlife Park (5 miles) or walk alpacas, you’re sure to find something for everyone.

This attractive slate bungalow offers you a comfortable, warm welcome. Entering through the front door, you will find yourself in the spacious hallway which leads round to the generous lounge with a feature fireplace which has been made from local slate. There is a wood burner which is perfect for colder evenings, to curl up in front of while making plans for the days ahead. There are French doors which open onto the garden, giving the room a bright and spacious feel. Next door, you will find the large kitchen/dining area and handy utility area. You can also access the garage from here where you will find a pool table and dart board, there is also plenty of room to store your bikes, sports equipment and buggies. Through the hallway, you will find three spacious bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and there is a family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.
Outside, the garden wraps around the bungalow with a lawn, seating area and small stream. It is a real suntrap and a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee while watching the lambs in the fields during the springtime.
