Located at the foot of magnificent Skiddaw, you are perfectly placed to take advantage of the outdoor opportunities that the Lake District offers. Bring your water sports gear and head down to the lake at Scarness Bay to enjoy some kayaking or paddleboarding. Less than 3 miles away, you can explore pretty Mirehouse and Gardens, a lovely spot for a walk, or for wildlife enthusiasts, Dodd Wood is a perfect spot to look out for osprey and red squirrels. Hikers can discover many different landscapes, with Aira Force waterfall, Skiddaw and Walla Crag all within 20 miles. Keswick is perfect for a lazy day with plenty of shops, galleries, cafes and breathtaking views to enjoy.
