Its just what it looks like; really quaint and perfect for what we needed. Its really quiet here in Kentmere which for the Lakes is hard to find. We saw 5 people only on one walk. Brilliant! Woken to the dawn chorus with 15 different types of bird. Its magical. No proper shower but the baths welcome after a long walk. Will be back for sure.

The Nook was above and beyond our expectations. So comfortable and cosy - we could not have wished for anything more. It is in the most perfect position for keen walkers with miles of footpaths on the doorstep and then to return to the wonderful warm kitchen with the Aga to dry your wet walking kit was just perfect.
