Offering space, comfort, and endless nearby attractions for guests of all ages, this attractive two-storey property welcomes up to five guests on the edge of marvellous Keswick. Known as the adventure capital of the Lakes, the town is bustling with opportunities for outdoor excursions. The surrounding fells and lakes provide beautiful destinations for walks and hikes, including challenging routes up Blencathra (7.5 miles) and Skiddaw (5 miles), alongside pathways around Derwentwater (10 miles) and Bassenthwaite Lake (4 miles). Popular attractions in town include Keswick Museum and the Derwent Pencil Museum (both within 1 mile), along with the much-loved Theatre by the Lake on the shores of Derwentwater (1 mile). Keen mountain bikers will appreciate Whinlatter Forest, just 4 miles away, while nearby Dodd Wood (3.5 miles) offers equally scenic walks among towering trees and abundant wildlife.

Each room boasts its own character in this exceptionally handsome holiday home, with ample space for the whole group to spread out and truly unwind. Enter via the high-ceilinged hallway, offering plenty of room to store coats and boots, alongside bookshelves filled with books and walking magazines, plus binoculars for birdwatching throughout your stay. From here, step into the lounge, where soft, muted tones create a calming space to relax. A wood burner adds a welcoming glow, complemented by a Smart TV for cosy evenings in. Continue into the large, sociable country kitchen, complete with underfloor heating for added comfort. A generous island provides additional workspace, while high-quality appliances make catering for the group effortless. Adjacent to this, the dining area flows into a brightly decorated snug, featuring a sofa and a wood burner-effect gas fire. Completing the ground floor is a practical utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and space for storing outdoor gear. Upstairs, three inviting bedrooms offer restful accommodation. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a private en-suite shower room. A second king-size bedroom and a single room are also located on this floor, each styled in calming tones with soft bedding. Two bathrooms serve the property: a smaller shower room and a larger bathroom featuring a charming roll-top bath.

Outside, enjoy the peaceful setting of the property's walled garden, complete with views towards Skiddaw and attractive flowerbeds filled with mature planting. The space is unenclosed yet private, with outdoor seating ideal for relaxing afternoons in the sun. Private parking for one car is provided.

Fabulous place. Very relaxing and comfortable. Well equipped with a great view of Skiddaw. It's a nice stroll into Keswick town centre past the Pheasant Inn and through Fitz park.
