Tucked in a quiet row just moments from Keswick's town centre, this beautifully renovated cottage offers a stylish retreat for a couple or solo traveller. Wander out to explore independent shops, eateries and an old-school cinema (within 100 metres) or continue to the shores of Lake Derwentwater (within 1 mile). This is a great spot for walkers and hikers who don't want to drive far, with lakeside strolls including Friar's Crag (0.6 miles). If you fancy more of a climb, head to Latrigg Fell (1.5 miles) or Blencathra (7 miles), or venture to the atmospheric stone circle at Castlerigg (1.5 miles) for far-reaching views over the surrounding fells.

Inside, this two-storey cottage combines traditional character with a chic, hotel-like finish to create a space that feels both welcoming and indulgent. Step straight into an open-plan living area with original flagstone floors and exposed beams. Here, you can get cooking with delicious local produce in the smart, contemporary kitchen, then savour a romantic meal at the table for two. Afterwards, curl up on the corner sofa, toes toasty by the wood burner, to watch a film or catch up on your favourite TV shows. Stairs lead up to a plush king-size bedroom dressed in quality linens, with local artwork and thoughtful finishing touches. Next door, a spacious bathroom offers a bath for leisurely soaks with an overhead shower for a refreshing start to each day.

To the rear of the property, there's a shared garden with a grassy lawn, a bistro table and chairs and mature borders. A permit is provided for parking in nearby public car parks.

Tastefully decorated, clean and well-equipped cottage perfect for 1 or 2 people. Great location - in town but quiet and a very short walk to the Lake.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at Little Aida. Well appointed cottage for two. Nicely decorated and furnished to a high standard in the centre of Keswick. All amenities within a short walk. Highly recommended. We will be back again

Little Ada, was a perfect place to stay for 3 nights, spotlessly clean. Milk, Prosecco, tea bags and coffee , waiting for us as we arrived. Very comfortable bed, with cool cotton sheets. Ideal spot for Keswick, and the parking permit worked a treat. Thank you .

The cottage is beautiful and very cosy. It is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully laid out and well equipped. We would have no hesitation in booking again. It is handy for the town but quiet and we didn't need to use the car at all. The stop for the Borrowdale bus is a couple of minutes walk away. We had a brilliant stay, thank you.

My boyfriend and I spent a week in Little Ada for our first holiday and we had the best time. The welcome hamper was lovely and really helpful, the location was peaceful but conveniently right by the centre of Keswick, and the house was clean, comfortable and felt like home. Some other highlights were the log burner, bath, garden, and watching the Read moreswifts from the window seat in the bedroom. Highly recommend :) Hide
