Well equipped, very comfortable property; we loved the garden and all of the outdoor seating areas. We enjoyed the peace and quiet that came with the remote location, along with the adventure that was the drive to the property!

Cant fault it, we chose this cottage for its remote location and authentic appeal, the local pub is charming and very friendly.

Lovely cottage with loads of equipment available. Couches not very supportive for older people getting in and out. Access road is very narrow with few passing spaces with bushes requiring cut back to stop scratching passing vehicles. Lovely scenery. Nice and peaceful location. Nice break with family.

Cottage was lovely although wasnt clean to a high standard. The rubbish bin is back down the single track lane which you have to drive to. We couldnt fit all of our rubbish in the bin. The garden could do with being maintained better, even if its just the grass being cut. That being said we had a lovely time with our family and plenty of walks doneRead more. Hide

We had an amazing time staying in the cottage. It was the perfect place for us to gather together & to spend quality time with one another. Our memories of the weekend will centre around being in the kitchen; cooking together, laughing together, taking in the fabulous view from the kitchen & the enjoyment of being in the moment.

Great cottage. Fabulous location in terms of peace and beauty, but a longish drive down a single track lane which some may not like. Very comfortable beds, lovely welcome pack. Thank you for this! Spacious and homely- a great place for a family get together.

We really liked the cottage. It was spacious for 5, great combination of modern kitchen & bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms & lounge where you could feel its history. Great position between Broughton Mills and Broughton in Furness, nice walks from the door and easy enough to drive to access the higher fells. 1/2 hour walk to the beautiful pub at BRead moreroughton Mills across the fields. Although the cottage is beautiful and one cannot complain about anything the location leaves a lot to be desired. The garden areas were all over grown with nowhere to walk or the dogs to play.
