The famous Castlerigg Stone Circle, is less than 0.5 miles from the cottage. Book a cruise out on Derwentwater, stopping off at Lingholm to see the garden that gave Beatrix Potter her creative inspiration, or hire your own rowing boat to soak up the scenery from the water. Families will love a day out  at the Lake District Wildlife Park; from zebras to eagles, there is something for all the family. A bus stop outside the property provides transport into Keswick, as well as the popular towns of Grasmere, Ambleside, Windermere and Cockermouth.

 As you step through the front door of this stylish property, you’ll be greeted by a welcoming entrance hall, perfect for storing coats and shoes after a busy day exploring. Venture upstairs, making sure to mind your head on the low ceiling as you go up the stairs, to discover a twin bedroom, providing a peaceful and private haven.
