Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of charming and characterful Grasmere village, this property offers an abundance to see and do straight from your front door. Whether shopping or dining, enjoying some spectacular walks or wild-swimming, Grasmere has something for everyone. Rich in history, you can visit the Wordsworth Museum or sample in the delights of Grasmere gingerbread. With fantastic bus routes, you are free to park up for the whole holiday and explore the wider Lake District. Ambleside Pier is a mere 5 miles away and from here you can hop aboard the Windermere Lake Cruiser where a day of adventure awaits. Paddleboarding and boat hire is available in the village. The nearby villages of Chapel Stile (9 miles) and Elterwater (8.5 miles), which are accessible by car, bus or an hour’s walk over Loughrigg Fell, are the perfect places to visit and offer a variety of walks and hikes with stunning views.

After pulling into the drive, step inside this deceptively large cottage. Welcomed into the spacious hallway, there is plenty of room to kick off your boots after a day on the fells. The well-stocked kitchen is an inviting space – with a well-placed dining table overlooking the garden, the whole group can get together over breakfast whilst making plans for the day ahead. Heading through the elegant hallway you’ll find the cosy living-room, with sumptuous seating and wood burner. Evenings can be enjoyed with your loved ones whilst watching your favourite films on the Smart TV. Also on the ground floor, you will find the first of the three king-size bedrooms – a roomy space with its own TV and en-suite bathroom. The bathroom offers practicality and comfort with a bath, walk-in shower, WC and a range of local products. Upstairs, the second bedroom with en-suite shower room, is beautifully furnished with soft hues and crisp linen so you can rest your head in luxury. Adjacent you can find the third bedroom. With a practical kitchen, seating for two and shower, as well as access to the balcony, this self-contained space is perfect for couples and extended family who may enjoy a bit of extra space to themselves.

You are spoiled for choice when it comes to outside space. Why not take in the beautiful views from the balcony over breakfast or dine alfresco in the sun-trap garden.

Brilliant location. The cottage has a good layout, nice to have a bathroom for each room. Plenty of space too. Great kitchen facilities in the main kitchen. Would definitely recommend.
