An attractive Lakeland stone townhouse located around 150 metres from central Keswick. This property offers a great base to explore the Lakes either on foot, bike, car or by bus. The town is surrounded by mountains, inlcuding Skiddaw and Blencathra, and located between Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite - all under 6 miles. Castlerigg Stone Circle is less than 2 miles away, dating back to the Neolithic era. Derwentwater is just half a mile away, there are eight jetties where you can hop on and off the boat to explore. Pop to Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake to take in a show and visit Crow Park, which is opposite; you can get 360-degree views of the mountains along with stunning views down the lake towards the exceptionally beautiful Borrowdale valley.

A charming patio area sits outside the front door. As you enter the property you will find yourself in the hallway. The ground floor has attractive oak flooring with underfloor heating which offers you a warm welcome. Off the hallway opposite the entrance, there is a handy utility room. Next door you will find a bathroom with a walk-in shower which is ideal after a long walk or if you have been enjoying some water sports. Heading through into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, this room offers a great social space to plan for your days ahead or discuss your day's adventures. There is a cosy gas effect log burner to curl up in front of, listen to some of your favourite tunes on the Sonos sound system or enjoy a good movie on the Smart TV with Sky package. On a nice evening, enjoy dinner at the dining table and open the bi-folding doors out to the patio - it is a really lovely spot to enjoy a hearty breakfast before you head off for the day. Head up the glass-sided staircase from the lounge to the first floor, where you will find a pretty double en-suite bedroom. A step down from the hallway takes you into a spacious super-king-size bedroom with dual views making it bright and airy. Directly next door you will find a bathroom with a bath to kick back and relax in.

At the front of the property, there is a pretty, enclosed courtyard garden with raised flower beds and seating. This is a real suntrap and is a great place to relax with a coffee in the morning and listen to the birds.

Great location in the heart of Keswick. Very clean and comfortable house. We loved the layout of the house which was perfect for 2 couples. It was also so nice to have contact from Kim who was from the management company. She was there if we needed her. We would highly recommend Century Cottage.

Wonderful cottage, everything you need for a comfortable stay in the heart of Keswick. The drying room was great as we needed to use after a couple of walks due to the weather.

This is a really great apartment - central but very quiet. It is one of our favourite places to stay in Keswick. Even if the driveway is too small for your car, you can park on the roadside. Inside is warm and cosy. We look forward to returning again.

Loved Century Cottage from the minute we walked in! Had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. The cottage is done to a high standard, didnt find any faults. Right on the doorstep of lots of independent shops, high street shops, bars and restaurants. Ate at The Royal Oak, great food. This is a perfect cottage for walkers with a state of the art drying/boot room plus cabinet. And such a warm welcome. Beds extremely comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen and fantastic location. Quiet but 5 mins from great coffee, shops and the beautiful cinema.

Lovely house in good location Everything you need after a long day walking The utility room with a drying cabinet was brilliant, Only downside was that the connecting rental house had a large party staying who were very noisy every night.

Great property for anyone who wants warmth, comfort and good facilities after a hard day on the fells. Pub and park nearby. Second bedroom a tad small but with good storage. This is a lovely cottage, we loved the open layout downstairs. Underfloor heating/ drying room was appreciated as we had wet weather most of our week. The second bedroom is rather small but fine for average sized people, big bedroom is like a suite!! There was plenty of hot water for showers etc The cottage is in a great location handy for the townRead more centre and parking was busy but we managed to find a spot. I did personally feel it could have been slightly cleaner in the kitchen when we arrived. Hide

We had a fantastic stay at Century Cottage - a week of luxury! The perfect base for a week in Keswick, easy to walk everywhere from the cottage. We loved the bifold doors to have our breakfast and morning coffee outside. Just a perfect week.

This is a very comfortable, very well equipped cottage very near to the town centre. We have used many holiday homes over the years and none would be better than this. One must be prepared to street park as the parking space sometimes advertised with the property is not a practical proposition other than small cars. The cottage was in a great location with only a short walk to the town. It`s in a very quiet street and the nearest convenience store is only minutes away. Very comfortable overall with a lovely view of the hills from the street.

Very central location. Comfortable with all high spec amenities. Huge master bedroom. Car parking space a bit tight for a medium sized car and the street can be very busy with parked cats on both sides.
