Enter in through the front door into the hallway, where there’s a cloakroom for muddy boots and coats. The wooden door to the left leads into the wing of the farmhouse. Directly in front is the downstairs bathroom, and the wooden door to the right leads into the main part of the farmhouse with a large open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. There is a useful shower room with a walk-in shower, and WC on the ground floor. The lounge area is a light and airy room with a large window with window seating, looking out onto the garden and filling the room with sunshine. The two large sofas are perfect to cosy up on and there is a wood burner (first basket of logs provided), and a Smart TV. The kitchen/dining area has a definite wow factor; a large, well-equipped, and very stylish kitchen with handmade wooden units and quartz worktops. The kitchen incorporates a double oven with an induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and double Belfast sink. There is a useful utility area with a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining area is equipped with a large wooden table that seats ten, just the place for a celebratory meal. A large sitting room with dual aspect windows provides a great place for those who want to spread out a little while on holiday. Sofas are well placed around the second wood burner (first basket of logs provided). A wooden door leads up the private staircase to the master bedroom on the first floor. This is one of the oldest parts of the farmhouse and you can't fail to notice the beautiful period features in this room, complemented by a very stylish contemporary decor, king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, separate walk-in shower and WC. An original 18th-century wooden staircase from the open plan living/kitchen/dining room leads up to the next bedroom and looks out over the side of the property towards the Lakeland fells and has a king-size bed. Next is a twin room, with two single beds and lovely countryside views. Along the corridor, you come to a king-size bed which looks out over the side of the property across to the Lakeland fells. Lastly, there is the twin bedroom with two single beds. There is a stylish tiled bathroom with a bath walk-in shower and a separate bath and WC.
Outside, an enclosed, gated, and mature garden with tables and chairs awaits. The enclosed garden wraps around the farmhouse with lovely rural views in all aspects. A fresh herb garden is available for your use. There is parking for six cars.
