Sliding doors lead into the cosy lounge where you can curl up with a good book or a movie on the Smart TV. The utility room has plenty of storage space and a built-in coffee machine. Heading up the oak and glass stairs, the first floor features a charming landing with exposed stonework, which makes a handy snug. Borrowdale Valley offers plenty of destinations for keen walkers including the Bowder Stone, Black Moss Pot, Honister Slate Mine, Eagle Crag and Galleny Force Waterfall (all within 3.5 miles). Climbers can head to Scafell Pike (2 miles) and Dale Head (3.5 miles), or you can explore the breathtaking lakes of Derwentwater, Buttermere and Crummock Water (all within 7.5 miles).
