A great place to stay for a week in the lovely Pooley Bridge. The house is very well equipped and the accommodation is of a high standard. Parking and garden generally work well although tight getting in/out. I would recommend.

We had an amazing Easter break at Butt cottage, in what is a really scenic and amazing area. The cottage is spacious, yet cozy and the fire was a great treat after a long day on the fells. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Wonderfully comfortable beds and a huge bath to return to after a day out walking. Super clean and well maintained. Enclosed garden was great for our dog. Perfect location, quiet yet near shops and pubs. We hope to return.

Lovely cottage and although only a minutes walk from the centre of everything was very quiet. Spotlessly clean. All 3 bedrooms are good sizes and the en-suites large and showers powerful. Kitchen was very well equipped and the utility space was great for leaving dog stuff, coats and shoes and can imagine in wet weather a great addition. The garden Read moreis very secure for dogs. Butt Cottage is in a fantastic position in lovely Pooley Bridge. Renovated to a high standard and homely. We immediately felt relaxed. The enclosed garden is an added bonus , especially if you have children or a dog. Looking out at the field in the sunshine was wonderful at any time of day. We would definitely return.
