Sensitive information (such as credit-card numbers) are not requested or stored on this site but are handled by our Payment Service Provider.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Card Payment Details

When your debit or credit card payment information is entered via our web site's on-line payment facility, that card information is not entered in any of our systems, you are seamlessly connected into the secure environment of our on-line card payment service provider who then processes your transaction and stores the data.  We have carefully selected a card payment service provider that is recognised by the banking and card issuing communities as providing a secure processing and storage environment.

There are occasions when cardholder information is provided to us, this should only be done either in person or by telephone and never by email.  We may undertake the relevant transaction, for which the information has been provided, either by use of the on-line facility or the card terminal (PDQ) in our office. When the pdq is used, the customer copy of the transaction is stored by us in order to identify and confirm the transaction.  As this is not the full card data it is not possible for it to be used to make any subsequent transaction. We comply with the requirements of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)

What we collect

If you use the contact us or concierge links on our website we will collect your name and contact details together with other information provided by you that will assist us to give the best possible response to your enquiry.

If you choose to make a booking through us (whether by telephone or via our website) we will collect details that you provide in relation to that booking and those specifically required on the booking form in order to evaluate your request and provide subsequent confirmation that the booking has been accepted or is not possible to put in place.

Information will include your name and contact details together with information about other members of the party, additional information may be collected that helps meet your specific requirements (such as travel arrangements) and or reflects your lifestyle choices in relation to the booking or general enquiry.

If you are the owner of a property and are considering using our agency services or have a property we already represent we will collect details such as your name, contact details, bank account details and details regarding the accommodation you are asking or have asked us to represent.

We collect website usage information and do this by using 'cookies' - see below.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping
  • To improve our website and the services we provide
  • if you are making a general enquiry we will use the information you provide in order to best respond to your enquiry.
  • If you are a property hirer we use the email address(es) you provide to notify you of details relating specifically to your reservation, if email is not available we will communicate by postal service.
  • If you are a homeowner whose property we represent, we will use your email address to notify you of bookings, your monthly accounts summary and any other information relating to your property or bookings taking place at it.
  • Using the email address you have provided and only with your agreement to its use for this purpose, we may periodically send promotional emails about new properties, special discount offers or other information which we think you may find interesting.
