Yew Tree Cottage

Overview

Yew Tree Cottage lies in the village of Bouth, noted for one of Cumbria’s best pubs, The White Hart. The location makes for easy exploration of the southern lakes and, to the south, the rolling meadows of the peninsulas and the south lakes coast.

Adjoining Ash Cottage, Yew Tree is the end cottage of a little row of four, all set on a very quiet narrow lane, a stones throw from the White Hart, offering their guests a comfortable holiday home to relax at after a days exploration, with the added benefit of a short walk to the nearby pub.

Living Spaces

You step into the open plan ground floor space. Contemporary in style but with traditional deep cushioned sofa and arm chair, well chosen ornaments and a flat screen TV for a lazy night in. To one end is the little kitchen, well equipped, you will find it easy to rustle up your favorite recipes.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Up stairs brings you to a landing, off which is the comfortable double bedroom and a shower room with shower cubicle, small basin and WC.

Garden Spaces

From the landing a door leads out to a sunny terraced patio garden with a small summer house, perfect to relax on a warm evening.

All in all this cottage will be perfect for couples seeking a romantic break, where you can relax in style and enjoy the beauty of the National Park.

Out & About

Bouth is a popular village. The location gives easy access to the southern fells and lakes as well as the coastal areas of the Cartmel Peninsular. A quiet peaceful place it boasts one of the best pubs, The White Hart Inn, serving excellent ales and hearty pub grub.

Guest Reviews

Lovely long weekend in the lakes was everything and more than we expected.  Great night at the local pub, walking Rydal and Grasmere on Saturday, lunch at Drunken Duck on Saturday, all amazing. Off to Cartmel for some sticky toffee pudding, we’ll be back.
Frida and Susan Ryan, Peaks, Derbyshire.

Myself & Michelle my partner would like to say that the cottage was a wonderful place to stay & enjoy the delights of the Lake District. Everything was beyond our expectations & we will have no hesitation in using your company again when booking a retreat in the area. Please pass on our thanks to the owners of the property if possible, everything was to a superb standard & we will when stopping on our own like to stop their again. Also we will be recommending your services to our friends & family. Many Thanks.
