Grammar School House is a large comfortable property with no unusual access difficulty, but few specific adaptions for disabled access 

 
Pre-Arrival

• The nearest significant town with shopping facilities is Penrith, 7 miles away
• No special precautions are required for Grammar School House itself 

 
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• Car parking is easy and spaces are available for at least 6 vehicles 

 
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area

• There is one step up to the front door
•  The front door key is available with knowledge of the code, from a keysafeby the front door.  This requires a little dexterity 

 
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc

• There is one flight of stairs with an easy bannister but no particular disabled stair lift
• Floors are all at the same level and wooden, with fitted carpets in some rooms 

 
Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc

• These are normal and comfortable 

 
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas

• Bedrooms are all on the first floor
• These are normal beds with easy access and duvets throughout
• There are no special facilities for wheelchairs 

 
Self-Catering Kitchen

• The ktchen contains an AGA for cooking which is easy to use
• There is a fridge freezer easily accessed within the kitchen 

 
Additional Information

• There is a shallow pond in the garden which is not fenced off
• This is a no smoking house
• Animals are not permitted
