A lovely little cottage for the two of us plus the dog. Great views and the pub down the road had some great food. A great base for exploring the Lake District. Just be mindful there are no shop in the village itself so ensure you bring your essentials until to venture out and about.

Really lovely cottage in a handy location. We found lovely walks local to the village as well as travelling further into the lakes. Garden was secure which which enabled the dog to enjoy time outdoors without us worrying he'd escaped. One small issue with a leak but was rectified quickly and professionally

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the location is some distance from what might be considered as the main attractions of the district but it was lovely and quiet, a nice place to return to after visiting the lakes. The cottage is comfortable with all the amenities of home and a nice pub a short walk away, could not ask for more.

A really beautiful cottage missing some attention to detail (Cupid on a grey bucket for one) which would make it 10/ 10 rather than 6/ 10. The bathroom is well overdue a deep clean with mould and dirt. The pillows on the bed are very uncomfortable/ flat and the quilt not great. There is a gap between the lounge and kitchen floor. The owner was realRead morely lovely when informed about the bathroom, I was advised this would be addressed at the end of our stay. Hide

Great location, cottage is small but has everything you need inside, perfect place after exploring the lakes to relax in. Garden is semi secure if your dog is a jumper, ours jumped the wall into next door's garden, but easily got her back , couldn't go any further though. A cottage I would return to
