Located in the centre of pretty village of Cartmel with its quaint cobbled streets and delightful stream-side walks. Explore the 12th century priory. Take advantage of the array of charming shops, pubs and two renowned starred restaurants; a wonderful destination for foodies. The famous racecourse with its nine race meets a year is on the doorstep and has a fantastic atmosphere and is a fun day out. A little further afield why not visit the Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition, the Lakeland Motor Museum or the spectacular gardens at Holker Hall. A trip to Lake Windermere is a must and only 20 minute drive by car.

Venture through the front door and you find yourself in the generous hallway and if you have forgotten your welly boots you will find a pair to fit along with spare socks. After a busy day exploring relax on the hall sofa, off with those walking boots and head up to the loft style lounge/kitchen/diner and relax. Prepare a meal together in the well-equipped kitchen with twin ovens and induction hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher to do the hard work. Chill the wine in the cooler and enjoy discussing the next day’s adventure over dinner. Sink into the sofa and enjoy watching a favourite film or programme on the Smart TV with Sky Sports package and Sonos sound bar. Head through to the luxurious bedroom with its super-king size bed, Smart TV and Sonos sound system to guarantee a good night’s sleep or watch a film before dozing off. Just off the bedroom is a dressing room with plenty of hanging and storage space. Take a soak in the fabulous free-standing bath and enjoy some me time and an invigorating shower in the morning to start the day.

In the charming shared courtyard you will find the adjacent shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. You will also find a lovely quiet seating area to enjoy a morning coffee or watch the stars at night, blankets supplied to keep warm and cosy. There is a secure garage with parking space for one car.

Perfect place for a relaxing break. Cartmel is a lovely village, and we never ventured far due to the comfort of the flat, the beautiful walks locally and all the places to eat!

We had a wonderful weeks break at Wharton Loft. The space was great for the two of us with everything we needed, including a really comfortable bed! The location was perfect too- Cartmel is a beautiful village with lots of options for eating and drinking and it was a great base for exploring the Lake District. Nicely laid out and set back from the road so very little traffic noise.Central to all the amenities in this popular village which has numerous places to eat.

Great accommodation we loved the space and comfort. Everything is new and clean with lovely crisp bedding. Nice and warm with easy to use temperature control. Very useful laundry room. Brilliant location with just a few minutes walk to any of the pubs for meals. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We loved this apartment & would stay again! Had everything we needed for a relaxed weekend, including a well equipped kitchen, and was also in an excellent location for a wander round Cartmel / visiting the pubs / restaurants etc. Very comfy bed too!
