Brilliant location just outside of Keswick (20min walk into town centre). Absolutely spotless on arrival and a small issue was immeidately recified by the super attentive Angie. An excellent introduction to the Lakes!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was ideal for a family group with children. Ideal location with a good walk/cycle through to Keswick if you want to leave the car behind. Close to lots of good walks and to Borrowdale and Honister slate mine.

The kitchen is very dated and feels old and worn. Location is good. Spacious house. Crockery not oven or microwaveable but cheap. We would not return as thought this would be a luxury house. Needs updating.

The house was beautiful and the facilities (like the log burner) lovely. The youngster in our group couldn't find the Xbox controller but I think the rest of us were glad of that!

Beautiful, spacious & clean property in a great location. Interior is tired in places especially the kitchen which really needs upgrading. Youll need to bring your own dishcloth & washing up liquid as these are not provided!! There are also no mirrors in the 4 bedrooms which is so strange (and annoying). Fab location for walking into Keswick. HowevRead moreer, there is great cafe, a pub and also water sports just a short walk from the cottage. Great location & the house suited our needs well. Hide

Adventure, memories and awe-inspiring natural beauty await you in the rugged, wild and unique Cumbrian Lake District where beautiful expanses of water merge with magical forests against a backdrop of dramatic mountains and fells.

This ancient land has been sculpted by time and nature and is the newest UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first UK National Park to be awarded this outstanding accolade. Poets, writers and artists throughout the ages have been instinctively drawn here; William Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter and John Ruskin, to name a few. The attractions and the diverse landscape will not fail to charm the young and the young at heart, whether that be thrill-seeking activities you seek, pure and cathartic inspiration or simply just some relaxation, you will find it here.

Cycling, walking, canoeing, white-water rafting, flying, parachuting and ballooning are just some of the offerings for any level of adrenalin junky. Experience the glory of nature in the wild or in a setting such as the Predator Experience where you can walk with wolves and learn about the importance of conservation. For a complete day of family, enjoy treetop capers at Go-Ape in the Grizedale Forest.

Vibrant towns and villages are there to be discovered, be it by land or water. You can step back in time and enjoy a steamboat cruise on a lake or leisurely unearth the dynamic scene of contemporary art, culture and some of the best dining in the UK by foot, bus or car.

The National Park is an area of breath-taking beauty that will leave you spoilt for choice, refuelled and inspired. So much so that you’ll want to come back time and time again.
