Occupying a central location within the West Cumbrian village of Great Clifton, this first-floor apartment is a great base from which to explore the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the north-west and the Lake District National Park to the east. Located above a popular village inn, the apartment is suitable for friends and families who want somewhere stylish to return to at the end of a busy day. If you don’t feel like cooking, you can head downstairs to the bar for a bite to eat.

This property is chic and contemporary with clean lines; the use of grey and white tones throughout creates a sense of light and space, making it easy to relax. Accessed via an external staircase, you enter into the kitchen/diner complete with all the mod-cons and plenty of space for everyone around the table. From here, head into the comfortable lounge to watch TV in front of the electric flame-effect fire. There are two beautiful bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms. Outside, a small, enclosed courtyard is perfect for morning coffee or evening bubbles.

Despite its quiet village location, there are many larger towns nearby such as bustling Workington with its range of shops and Georgian market town, Cockermouth (both within 5 miles). The historic coastal town of Maryport (9 miles) also offers a good family day out, as it has museums, an aquarium, a lighthouse and a good range of shops and eateries. Heading east into the Lake District, enjoy walks amongst the northern fells, such as Skiddaw (18.5 miles), or take to the water on Bassenthwaite or Loweswater (both within 12 miles). Bassenthwaite is also home to a wetlands nature reserve and nesting ospreys, so be sure to pack your binoculars.

Lovely apartment with everything you need, warm and comfortable, would highly recommend. Well placed for visiting the Lakes and the surrounding areas.

Absolute lovely place would go again pub restaurant on doorstep and everything in lake district a little car ride away beautifull scenery couldnt foult it. staff is friendly and very helpfull
