Offering vast rooms with original wooden beams, antique furniture and ornate fireplaces, you’ll no doubt enjoy a stay in the lap of luxury right here in Cartmel. Five large bedrooms ensure that there’s more than enough space for ten guests to rest and recharge, whilst the close proximity to one of Cartmel’s finest specialist restaurants ensures that good food and drinks are always close by for those ill inclined to cook.

Discover this original Grade II-listed building, where traditional cottage elements are perfectly paired with plenty of modern touches. The farmhouse-style kitchen benefits from attractive stone flagged flooring and a Range oven, whilst amenities including a Nespresso machine and dishwasher ensure that your appliances are all up to date. Similarly, the stylish lounge is well presented with an abundance of cushy sofas and a wood burner for the ultimate cosy night in, whilst a Smart TV ensures there’s plenty of options for all to be entertained. Should you choose to cook at home, the elegant dining room provides the perfect place to sit down together, whilst the small but cheerful garden is furnished for an al fresco meal or late-night tipple.

Mosey into the village of Cartmel (0.5 miles) to discover a truly charming Lake District spot. With the River Eea running through, the village boasts an artisan cheese shop, a wonderful 12th-century church and pretty tearooms.
