The former mill village of Spark Bridge has a couple of friendly pubs and is within easy reach of some popular attractions and landmarks including Langholme Mill Gardens, Hay Bridge Nature Reserve, Lakeland Motor Museum, Blawith Knott, Stott Park Bobbin Mill and Holker Hall and Gardens (all within 8 miles). Also nearby there’s the bustling town of Ulverston (5.5 miles) and the southern tips of the lakes of Windermere (6 miles) and Coniston (3.5 miles).
