Soak up the hearty village ambience in the delightful village of Grasmere, home to a lovely selection of quaint tearooms, traditional pubs, and independent shops. Lace up your hiking boots to enjoy scenic walks around the surrounding fells and along the banks of the River Rothay on your doorstep. Neighbouring Ambleside, 5 miles away, offers some wonderful local shops and restaurants to discover, as well as one of the most photographed houses in the Lake District. The beautiful market town of Keswick can be reached within 13 miles.

After a day of walking the fells, a warm, welcoming lounge invites you to unwind, boasting plush sofas and a gorgeous, period ornamental fireplace reminiscent of days past. Flooded with plenty of natural sunlight, the spacious farmhouse-style kitchen/diner features traditional stone that blends seamlessly with all your contemporary comforts. Climb the stairs to the first floor, where two blissful bedrooms await; there's a light and airy twin bedroom and a cosy single bedroom on offer, both enjoying soothing neutral hues. The contemporary bathroom on this level provides everything you need to feel refreshed. On the second floor, tucked away beneath the eaves, the delightful double bedroom offers views over the rooftops to the surrounding fells that'll inspire you to get out and explore. Please note that the cottage features steep and narrow stairs.

Outside, seating areas to both the front and rear of the cottage provide the perfect spots for morning coffee or a sparkling sundowner whilst soaking up your wonderfully peaceful surroundings. There is private parking for two cars.
