This delightful cottage is located on a 400-acre working farm set in picturesque countryside, alongside two other holiday homes. It lies within the Lake District National Park, near the popular towns of Windermere and Bowness (both within 6 miles), in the quaint village of Ings. For hiking enthusiasts, travel 6 miles north to Kentmere. There, the trail to Kentmere Reservoir winds through one of the Lake District's most picturesque valleys, where you might even see birds of prey. If you're drawn to the lakes, Bowness offers enchanting ways to enjoy the water, such as ferries and cruisers. Waterhead, 6.5 miles away, provides motorboat rentals, as well as canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards for a more relaxed experience. After an active day, the charming village of Staveley, 2 miles away, has various dining options along with a butcher and a baker.

Very well presented and comfortable made an excellent base as just off main road. Although the road is not visible or noisy when at the cottage
